Welcome!
Let's work together to make you pictures to capture this moment in your life! You can strike a traditional pose outside surrounded by Alaska nature, or fly a kite, have a picnic, or go for a walk and I will take candid pictures. In your home, you can do a formal pose in front of the fireplace, or you can make cookies with your kids, play a game, or read a book, and I'll record those memories for you. Either formal or candid, we'll create memories that will look gorgeous on your walls and something beautiful to send to loved ones.
I am an on-location photographer, and meet you outdoors or go to your home for candid lifestyle portraits. I also have a portable studio, and occasionally rent a space for special holiday sessions.

I got my first SLR camera in high school and spent far too many hours developing film and taking pictures for my high school year book. I did the same thing in college, and also got a couple degrees in the meantime. It wasn't until a few years ago that I thought about being a professional photographer, after being inspired by other portrait photographers. Since then I have been devoted to exclusively studying portrait photography, both candid and posed.
In my free time (what is that?), I can be found outside running, walking, biking, hiking...you get the idea...as well as crafting, and spending time with my family. And, if you must know, my favorite coffee drink is an americano with plenty of extra room for half and half.
